2008 UNITED CONSTRUCTION PRODUCTS 5th ANNUAL SKEET SHOOT

On June 6, 2008 United Construction Products held its 5th Annual Skeet Shoot at Knollwood Gun Club. We hold this event every year to show our appreciation to our customers and our vendors. This year we had more than 70 customers, vendors, and family members attend the skeet shoot.  Attendees were able to receive professional advice from instructors and enjoy a full buffet of food, snacks, and beverages. Everyone from the most experienced shooter to the first timer was able to get out and enjoy the activities. FREE TRAINING SEMINAR ON BUTTERFIELD, INC.

On May 15, 2008 we at United Construction Products were pleased to host more than 40 customers for our Butterfield Color hands-on demonstration.  During this daylong class Jerry and Jim from Butterfield Color explained in detail, step-by-step coloring, stamping, stenciling, renovation, elements, acid stain, overlays, and vertical overlays.  Throughout the class attendees where able to ask questions and share personal experiences with their decorative concrete projects.  United Construction Productions would like to thanks of our customers who attended the class and Butterfield Color for putting on a great demonstration.

United Construction Products would like to thank all the attendees who participated in our Allen Concrete College on April 22nd & 23rd.  The Allen Concrete College was a great success due to the experienced professionals from Allen Engineering, PNA Construction Technologies, and the skilled concrete finishers who attended the college.  The concrete college, hosted here in Naperville welcomed 25 employees from 10 different companies, and consisted of troweling techniques, PNA diamond dowel application, floor flatness, floor levelness, D-meter utilization, and proper Allen equipment operation.  During the two-day college attendees where able to ask questions, give input, discuss techniques, and pour a slab to apply the material discussed in the classroom.

On February 28, 2008, forty-two attendees from 18 concrete companies joined United Construction Products in learning proper concrete repair techniques.  Instructors from Sika and Roadware gave instruction and performed demos on their different products during the one-day event.  Topics covered included concrete mending, grout patching, pour in place repair, rebar coating, epoxy use and epoxy injection.

During the catered lunch and after the class, attendees were able to talk one-on-one with the instructors and United Construction Products employees for further information.  Not only was this class was informative for our customers, but also our employees.
